Job Summary
King Waterproofing & Foundation Solutions, a leading provider of residential and commercial structural repair and waterproofing services, is seeking a motivated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This role is crucial in assisting with the preparation and application of waterproofing materials and executing various tasks related to foundation and concrete repairs, ensuring the integrity of structures and delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
Assist with the installation of waterproofing and air barrier membranes on residential and commercial structures.
Prepare surfaces for waterproofing applications by cleaning, sanding, priming, and repairing as needed.
Help apply waterproofing membranes, coatings, or sealants to foundations, basements, and other areas using various methods, including spray, brush, roller, or trowel.
Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively, including grinders, pressure washers, and caulking guns.
Assist with concrete repair and patching, including lifting and leveling concrete slabs.
Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and moving materials, digging trenches, and cleaning job sites.
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
Adhere to all safety standards and requirements and utilize appropriate Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE).
Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient project completion.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or foreman.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED certificate.
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs +), and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and crawling.
Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and man lifts.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team.
Basic math and communication skills (verbal and written).
Experience in construction, roofing, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of various waterproofing techniques and materials is a plus.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation may be required.
